2024 is a year of gratitude and appreciation!
Someone once said that the first thing you should do when you get up in the morning is smile because the ability to smile means you didn't die in your sleep! They also said to smile at the end of the day, because you made it through another one.
The pandemic has changed the lives of everyone. Greg and I made a concerted effort to stay in business in spite of the hardship, and here we are, in large part to you who have stepped up by ordering online or in our shop. The worst of the pandemic is over, in whatever new fashion we create. It's getting to the point where life can go on.
Some of you may have noticed that we did not attend the Spring One of a Kind Show in Toronto for the first time in 20 years. We are looking forward to the Christmas Shows starting soon! We hope to see you there.
Greg and I have been busy putting things together for our neverending expansion!

We are so proud connecting directly with local producers for our supply. We're receiving fresh local produce from our local suppliers Serres de Chlorophylle, Suntech Growers, Spika Farms, Ferme Natura, Serres Ste. Lazare, and PY Cousineau.
Come see what we make from the locally grown produce that is abundant in our area and shared with the rest of Canada.

We created the Bushman brand in order to bring wild flavours to your table.
Check out the Jungle Juice, fresh squeezed citrus, Wild Fruit Vinegar, made with wild Canadian berries, Ginger Elixir, fresh squeezed ginger syrup, and our Peppered Oils, one is spicy and the other is very Hot.

Fresh New Projects
This year we are finalizing the details for our Federal Manufacturing Kitchen Food Safety System for Small Producers.
This system allows local artisanal food producers with small hand-batch facilities to manufacture their product to International Food Safety Standards without being required to operate a multi-million dollar facility.
Government Petition
Tia Loftsgard, Executive Director of the Canada Organic Trade Association contacted us to help amplify a petition with the Federal Government to stand up for Canadians when it comes to making groceries affordable for us. The Government responded on June 18th. We are pleased to have been able to support the slow steady march towards an organic and locally grown and manufactured food chain.
Haitian Fire Update
Captain Max called us from Haiti and told us that their financing for the Women's Coooperative Kitchen has been secured. He's invited Greg and Tina to visit Limonade to finalize their
HACCP processes.
The team is excited for final steps, and hope to get their processes perfected before Haitian Independence Day.
Now to get to Limonade safely.
