My Hurricane Sandy was based on a strange experience. We received an order of Red Savina Habanero when I tracked hurricane Sandy passing over the farm that had just supplied us, wiping out the rest of the crop. The hurricane headed north then east downgrading to a tropical storm, but the eye passed directly over my kitchen outside of Montreal. I made a batch using the red savinas while the eye was directly over my kitchen, and Hurricane Sandy was born. Check out all my Hurricanes.
